The Magic Jeti Switch makes it possible to switch any PowerBox on and off from the transmitter. It forms the ideal complement to any PowerBox system which is installed in an inaccessible location, or in a model where an external switch is not desirable. The Magic Jeti Switch is stuck to the Jeti RCSW and connected to it, producing a compact, wireless switching unit which takes the switching signal from the Jeti RC-Switch and “translates” it for the PowerBox. At the transmitter the switching process can be triggered using any switch, and confirmed on-screen with a button. This procedure eliminates the possibility of switching the model off accidentally. You can also set audible confirmation for the switching process by means of an audio file (download in our forum). The combination of Jeti RCSW and Magic Jeti Switch draws a very low idle current (< 200 µA), but nevertheless we recommend that you disconnect the switch from the PowerBox if flying is unlikely for a protracted period, e.g. over the Winter. The Magic Jeti Switch is available in two versions: one is fitted with a red plug, and is suitable for the Base Log, Evolution, Competition and Cockpit; the other with a black plug, suitable for the Royal SRS and Champion SRS. The MagSensor represents an alternative method of operating and switching our PowerBox battery backers. The circuit is based on modern, zero-contact "Hall sensors", which respond to a magnetic field by activating the electronic switches in the PowerBox. The Hall sensors do not switch the current, but simply pass on the switching signal. This accessory is suitable for all PowerBox systems, regardless of age, which are designed to be switched on and off using the SensorSwitch. The basic purpose of the MagSensor is to switch the dual power circuits on and off, but it can also be used to reset the capacity display fitted to more recent systems, if this is an integral feature of the PowerBox. The SensorSwitch must still be used for programming servos and carrying out set-up tasks within the PowerBox's programming menu. The particular advantage of the MagSensor is that scale pilots can exploit all the advantages of our redundant battery backer systems, but without an exposed On / Off switch. The magnetic trigger is powerful enough to penetrate reliably through thick GRP / CFRP walls panels, even if they are several millimeters thick. In addition to a pair of green LEDs for visual monitoring, the MagSensor features a supplementary Piezo sounder, which confirms the On / Off switching process by means of beeps of different pitch. The MagSensor still requires you to activate both power circuits individually - as with all PowerBox systems. The reason behind this feature is that the PowerBox contains two redundant switching and regulatory systems. Separate control also gives you the opportunity to check each of the PowerBox's power circuits individually - and this also applies to the MagSensor. If you are using a PowerBox System with an integral capacity counter, the MagSensor can also be used to reset the residual capacity display. The PowerBox MicroMatch is the ideal solution for models where there is no space for a PowerBox, or where the PowerBox in use does not include the MicroMatch’s functions. The MicroMatch provides a very simple method of fine-tuning the servo travels and center positions of both outputs. Its main application is for systems where two servos operate a single control surface; the unit can match them electronically to run exactly in parallel. This prevents the servos counteracting each other, and allows the torque and speed of both servos to be exploited to the full. A further positive effect is a significant reduction in current drain and servo wear. The MicroMatch includes a servo reverse function which changes the direction of rotation of the servos with a single click. This is ideal for elevator servos which are installed as a mirror-image pair, allowing them to be operated using just one channel. Further applications are twin rudders or steerable nosewheels. All adjustments can be carried out using the USB interface (Jeti and MPX adapters can also be used) or a BlueCom adapter. The BlueCom option offers one very practical feature: it is possible to make direct adjustments at the servo output arm, and alter the settings conveniently using a mobile phone and a Bluetooth link! The MicroMatch includes an update facility, allowing for possible future expansions to the range of functions. The SparkSwitch is a reliable, high-performance ignition switch. The overall design of the SparkSwitch is deliberately simple, but omits no important functions. The ignition switch is immediately ready for use as supplied, and needs no setting up. The only requirement is to set up the switch channel at the RC system transmitter. The SparkSwitch can be used to turn the ignition circuit on and off from the transmitter, and is suitable for use with power supplies consisting of NC, LiPo or LiFe cells. The output voltage is subject to linear stabilization, and is regulated at 5.9 Volt (alternative 7.4V and 12V): a value which is suitable for all types of ignition system. The separate plug-in ultra-bright 5 mm LED should be mounted in the area of the engine cowl, in order to indicate the switched state. A particularly user-friendly feature is that the unit detects when the receiving system is switched off, and draws no current from the ignition battery thereafter. This means that there is no need for an additional switch between the battery and the SparkSwitch, and forgetting to switch off the ignition battery is no longer a problem. As you would expect, the battery can also be recharged without being disconnected. The power circuits for the receiver and the ignition system are isolated from each other by an opto-coupler, effectively preventing interference from reaching the receiver. The set includes accessories such as two connecting leads and the LED and mount. The SparkSwitch has also proved excellent in practice as an electronic switch for supplementary working systems such as lighting circuits.
