There are several early F-80 and T-33 kits that have been sitting around for years. They are in various stages of completion from new-in-the-box (NIB) to having been flown with D/F or Turbine power.
The below list of parts packages were developed to build the prototype EVF models that we have been flying and are included in the new, all composite versions of the F-80 and T-33.
These parts can be used to convert/update the early balsa covered foam wing kits and the Obeche skinned foam wing kits to the very efficient EVF ~3~ 12s power. The new instruction manual covers both the F-80 and T-33. The full size CAD drawings are specific to each version of the Shooting Star.
It is the customer's choice as to which parts packages you wish to purchase and how much of the conversion fits the state-of-build of your model. Please understand that we can not breakup a package to sell one or two parts. It would be labor expense that could not be covered. It may be helpful to order the instruction manual and plans first, then order the parts by the package number as shown below.
Both the BVM F-80 and T-33 have placed high in recent scale competitions because the outline is true to scale and because they fly and land very well.
Note: If your Shooting Start has the original balsa sheeted wings, give us a call for information about adding more strength to those structures.
