EVF Shroud and Mounting Hardware
EVF Shroud and Mounting Hardware We are making the EVF shroud and mounting hardware available for BVM kit builders. This setup will facilitate the placement of inlets and tailpipes in your electric jet model. Simply use the shroud while building, then pop in your EVF when your model is complete and ready for power. There is a $75.00 charge for the shroud, you may return it to BVM for a $50.00 refund. This is a service offered only by BVM.

NACA Inlets For summer operation.
NACA Inlets For summer operation. Adding these NACA flush cooling air inlets to an EVF powered jet will reduce the end-of-the-flight temperatures (motor/batteries) by 8-10°F compared to a non ventilated installation. The inlet design allows the cooling air to enter the fuselage with very little drag losses. The inlets can be added to a finished model.

Your EVF will perform better with Power Plugs because of reduced resistance. We can measure the difference on our test stand. *Please Note, Power Plugs are manufactured per order. We have been testing these new Series Power Plugs for sometime now. The new Series Plugs handle higher currents better. They are larger in size and have larger contacting surfaces. Another benefit to the new plug is the ability to offer an Anti-Spark Plug to our ESC's on the 10S and 12S EVF units. Our new 14S EVF unit already has Anti-Spark in the ESC. These New Series Plugs are Male Inputs with Male Outputs. The BVM EVF system has a Female Plug already installed on it. This is done because we have an Anti-Spark Female Plug and a Non Anti-Spark Female Plug. 10S and 12S Versions will have the Anti-Spark Female Plug. The 14S Versions will have the Non Anti-Spark Female Plug since the ESC already has it built in. Anti-Spark Plugs are not rated above 50V use.

F-86 Super Flow Inlet Duct
Super Flow Inlet Duct for BVM F-86 63" ARF. In our efforts to constantly improve the efficiency of the BVM EVF powered airframes, we took a close look at the F-86 inlet duct. We found that with some contour changes and the inclusion of a center mounted spike we could gain some performance. The airflow from the nose cone inlet to the fan rotor is now much improved. This is all new tooling and both the static and flight tests confirm the performance increase. It's an easy to install, worthwhile upgrade to an EVF powered F-86. Installing this duct assembly in any existing BVM Sabre designed for EVF or D/F power will yield an additional 1 pound of static thrust. The weight addition is .6 oz.
