Pump Mount 2/PK

Scuff Boards 10pk
Much of the sanding work required to build our models today involves the proper "scuffing" of the wood and plastic parts in preparation for gluing.
These #80 grit double sided, flexible boards are perfect for the job of giving the parts "tooth" for the glue to grab onto.
Critical tasks such as installation of laser cut formers into a fiberglass fuselage are a great application for the Scuff Boards. They are just flexible enough to attack the molded fiberglass and stiff enough to clean off burned edges of the laser cut ply parts. You can trim the ends with shears to adapt to each task.
Once you have some Scuff Boards on your workbench, you will find many other uses for these very handy and inexpensive tools. We certainly have in the BVM prototype shop.

Small Push Tool
BVM's Small Wooden Push Tool assists in changing the BVM Solid Rubber Tires, 2-1/8" to 2-5/8".
After removing the old tire from the rim. Insert the cone tool into the axle bushing of the rim. Place the tire over the cone. Place the Wooden Push Tool over the tire. Slowly push straigth down, keeping fingers clear from the underside. For larger wheels, it may be nesessary to place the wheel on the floor and stand on the push tool.

Super-O-Lube (for brakes)
Air powered retractable landing gear, oleo struts, valves and brake systems occasionally need maintenance. If you ever have to disassemble any of these systems to clean them, there will be a need to replace the O-ring lubricant. Parker Super O-Lube is what we use at the BVM factory for all of our O-ring lubrication. It is a high viscosity lubricant that will not clog filters or lines, just use it sparingly. Packaged in this convenient 1/2oz tube, it is perfect to keep in your flight box.

Wheel Axle Grease
The one piece wheel hubs have Oil-Lite bushings pressed into each side. The gap between the bushings should be packed with Wheel Axle Grease. Practice has shown that most BVM wheels should be repacked about every 2 dozen flights.
