F-86 Super Flow Inlet Duct
Super Flow Inlet Duct for BVM F-86 63" ARF. In our efforts to constantly improve the efficiency of the BVM EVF powered airframes, we took a close look at the F-86 inlet duct. We found that with some contour changes and the inclusion of a center mounted spike we could gain some performance. The airflow from the nose cone inlet to the fan rotor is now much improved. This is all new tooling and both the static and flight tests confirm the performance increase. It's an easy to install, worthwhile upgrade to an EVF powered F-86. Installing this duct assembly in any existing BVM Sabre designed for EVF or D/F power will yield an additional 1 pound of static thrust. The weight addition is .6 oz.

General Purpose Jet-Foam Cradle
Originally developed for the BVM 84" Sabre Jet, this Jet-Foam Cradle works well for many medium size jets such as the Bandit, Electra, MiG-15, and F-100. The distance between the End Brackets can be adjusted on the PVC Tubes and the Velcro Straps will hold the model for field assembly, disassembly, and transport, as well as being very handy in the shop while you work on the model. Modify as desired A razor saw or sharp knife can be used to put a "V" notch in an End Bracket if that best suits your model. Outline the desired modification with tape, then cut. Ultra Bandit Jet-Foam Cradle
The Ultra Bandit Jet-Foam Cradle is the largest in BVM's line of airframe handling products. The PVC tubes are longer (38") and the forward End Bracket is wider to carefully handle the inlet ducts without damage. For lots of handling, building, and transporting conveniences, the Ultra Bandit fuselage aft section is removable. This special Jet-Foam Cradle allows support of the front half (with the aft fuse section removed) to allow engine access, fuel tanks, etc. NOTE: Extra lengths (12 feet) of the 1-1/2 wide Velcro straps (BVM # PA-SR-0079) are available to assist in mounting the Jet Foam Cradle to a trailer shelf or floor for safe and soft transport. This BVM Epoxy Glue Starter Kit will introduce you to 3 great Aerospace Grade adhesives that can solve your most challenging assembly tasks. As a manufacture of high performance jet models, we know the importance of strong and long lasting bonds. Aeropoxy, VPoxy+, and QT Plus are used in some of the manufacturing processes of BVM ARF's and are depicted in our assembly manuals. Hobby grade epoxies can deteriorate with time. Aerospace Grade means that when your model is 10+ years old, those critical glue joints will still stand up to high speeds and G's. After you gain experience with this trio of epoxies, you can reorder individual cartridges as necessary.
